As per the provisions of Law no 03/L-084 amending UNMIK Regulation 2005/20, the Governing Board of the Trust is comprised of:

Four professional members, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management or pension administration (as further detailed in sub-section 5.4 of the regulation);

Two representative members, one representing the interests of employers and one representing the interests of employees;

One representative of Kosova Government; and
-
One international representative of International Civilian Representative
The structure of the Governing Board and the skill requirements of the selected Members have been set to ensure an appropriate mix of experience and abilities. Board Members are expected to oversee the functions of the Trust administration and to provide guidance in their particular areas of expertise. The Board has exclusive responsibilities for Trust investments, and is responsible for making all policy decisions relating to the Trust, with input and advice from the Managing Director and staff.
Professional Members Professional Members are expected to provide guidance to the Trust on issues relating to the investment of pension assets and the administrative matters of collecting and accounting for pension contributions.
Representative Members Representative Members are expected to have considerable experience working with, and representing, Kosova’s employers and employees. The prime responsibility of these members is to represent the interests of their constituents. It is also a function of the Representative Members to actively communicate with the public and to promote awareness of pension savings policies and procedures.
Government Representative Government representative's main function is to ensure adequate oversight and to represent the government at the Trust Board. This Member is appointed by the Prime Minister.
ICR Representative Is appointed by the International Civilian Representative and represents him at the Board. This member will remain on the Board until the international supervision of Kosova expires.
